ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Digital Product Manager (B2C Website) Europe, will be responsible for taking full ownership of the customer end-to-end digital customer journey for a specific product. The role will monitor and manage the progress of the product, overseeing the development of product documentation whilst understanding and translating customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
⊲ Owning the vision of the product and following market development
⊲ Creating and managing a product backlog and mapping out dependencies
⊲ Acting as the primary liaison for your products; agreeing goals and KPIs
⊲ Carrying out detailed analysis of user needs, business requirements, impact, scope, risks, benefits and technical dependencies for user stories
⊲ Providing key input for the product’s business case
⊲ Monitoring and managing the progress of the product
⊲ Understanding customer needs and translating them into features
⊲ Overseeing the development of product documentation
⊲ Managing key stakeholders (including channel teams, business analysts and development teams)
⊲ Owning the roadmap for roll-out across Europe, enabling execution and implementation in the regions
⊲ Acting as subject-matter expert in product domain (understanding market trends, best practices etc.)
⊲ Liaizing with regional product managers to collect feedback; understanding local customer and business needs and priorities
⊲ Managing budget for BAU and CI
⊲ Presenting product progress, including demos, to key stakeholders
⊲ Coordinating the design of new digital solutions, involving key stakeholders (e.g. IT, channels, etc.)
⊲ Ensuring the product’s required service level fulfilment
(overseeing trouble shooting if necessary)
⊲ Overseeing the product’s compliance with individual legal or corporate requirements
⊲ Defining and distributing information material to regions
⊲ Accountability for first level testing before handing over to regions and second level support
⊲ Providing input to TO-BE requirement documents, process flow charts, mock-ups and dummies.

KEY AND DESIRED SKILLS:
⊲ Strong experience and knowledge of e-commerce in retail/B2C (preferably in automotive)
⊲ Experience with large roll-out/implementation trajectories of digital/IT solutions
⊲ Strong knowledge of customer experience design
⊲ Proven track record in translating and implementing business strategy into successful digital products
⊲ Professional written and oral English communication abilities and strong analytical and communication skills
⊲ Commercially minded, appreciating and using the impact digital experiences have on customer outcomes and business results
⊲ Ability to lead projects in a matrix organization.
