The Assistant Product Manager will work in conjunction with the Product Management and Procurement team for specific projects within this function, on the definition and the implementation of the new pan-European business processes. In this dynamic environment you can have a lasting impact on what is going to be key to LKQ’s future success on the European market. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to get a unique view on LKQ’s European business landscape, working as part of a great and supportive team. Some travelling will be required, depending on Covid restrictions.
⊲ Defining the new pan-European Product Management
and Procurement processes
⊲ Gathering information from local business to gain an
in-depth understanding of the existing business and
technical environment the project will need to work with
⊲ Testing the newly-developed solutions alongside the
⊲ Supporting the businesses during the
⊲ Guiding local businesses through change management,
business process changes, problem resolution and
functional decisions which will need to be taken.
⊲ Regional Product Management/Procurement teams
⊲ Supply Chain Planning
⊲ Category teams
⊲ BI and Analytics Team
⊲ Integration partner (Infosys).
KEY AND DESIRED SKILLS:
⊲ Degree in Business Management, Economics or similar
⊲ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
⊲ Fluent in English plus another European language
would be desirable
⊲ Strong interpersonal, organizational and
creative problem-solving skills
⊲ Positive attitude
⊲ Ability to work under pressure
⊲ Eager to travel and work in a pan-European organization.
